Jensen(千賢) has been talking about kite flying for a few months now and finally, he bought the "kite of his dreams". Although it cost him an arm and a leg, he's still happy and excited about his new toy. I got caught up with his excitement so...he decided to invited me, Cheru and Natz to fly kite with him at the Star of the Ocean (海洋之星) which is a really great place for kite-flying and for picture taking.
Jensen's kite is not the ordinary kites like the ones we see in the "Kite Runner" or "Mary Poppins". It's the big one that has two strands for pulling...Jensen is really good with it and he taught me how to fly it...I was scared for a while but had a great time after I get the hang of it. The wind is not really appropriate for kite-flying that day and the kite didn't stay in the sky for long. Nevertheless, we still had fun. The view is great, the company is great and seeing the kite fly on a beautiful sunset sky is a great way to end the day. Hope we can do it again soon!
Thought for the day:
It's my first time to "fly a kite" and the feeling is really wonderful. The instant that you pull the strings and see the kite soar to the sky is really.....WOW!!! It's overwhelming and amazing. It really gave me a sense of accomplishment. Really hope to do it again soon!
